THE PREZ SAYS November, 2021

A chill is in the air and I enjoyed some nice fall color on a recent trip through the North Carolina mountains on I-40. The resorts out west are getting pounded with snow from the recent storms, Mammoth already planned to open October 29, and Steamboat will open November 20. Looks like it is shaping up to be a good ski season. There are still a few more spots available on our distant ski trips, and the Ireland trip has new dates and a lower price— see details below in this issue. If you want a season pass at Ober Gatlinburg, note that the price goes up from $175 to $239 on November 19. Ober will again offer half-price lift tickets to KSOC members for regular non-holiday sessions. You will need your membership card, which you can download from the KSOC web site. They are also offering a great deal on lesson programs. Details on all this are below. The next Happy Hour will be on Thursday, November 4, and the Stream Cleanup on the Ten Mile Creek Greenway is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, November 20, with details below. Have a great time as the holiday season approaches!
